It takes a village! Join Born’s Mindful Mamas in a group that focuses on all things mommy & buddha baby. This group is a way to connect with other moms, share your story and touch base on weekly topics. Each week we will spark conversation on topics of interest and be joined by an expert on the subject.

Topics include but are not limited to: self care for moms, pelvic floor health, adjustment to parenthood, back to work, support system, infant massage, intro to sign language, CPR, sleep schedules and feeding baby.
Cost is $45 for a 3-week session. Please let us know if you will be unable to attend 1 of the classes within your 3-week session. $20 drop in. Existing packages may be used towards this series. All ages welcome.

10/18 POSTNATAL ANXIETY, Jennifer Hanawalt, PHD, Clinical Psychology

Dr. Jennifer Hanawalt is a mom of four, ages 11 months to 13 years, and a Clinical Psychologist at the Birmingham Maple Clinic in Troy. She specializes in anxiety disorders and working with families of individuals with special needs and medical difficulties. Dr. Hanawalt will speak about symptoms of postpartum anxiety, self-care and ways to cope with anxiety after having a baby, and when and how to seek help.

10/25 BABY WEARING, Jessica Jacobs, RYT, MSH-Ed

Jessica will lead us through a gentle and playful Baby-Wearing Yoga class. While you get your yoga on, your buddha baby will get their snuggle on! This workshop will offer baby-wearing friendly poses and standing balancing postures, as well as baby massage. You will also have the opportunity to connect with other mamas and share advice on all things mommy and baby!

11/12 at 10:00-11:30am GROSS MOTOR MILESTONES, AGES 4 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS, Dr. Mandy Kirk, DPT

Dr. Mandy Kirk is a doctor of physical therapy and the owner of Move to Success Physical Therapy. She has been treating pediatric patients for over 2 years and see kids with a variety of diagnoses such as toe walking, torticollis, CP, and gross motor delay. In her free time, Dr. Kirk enjoys gardening, spin classes, and photography.
