What should my child wear/bring to yoga class?

Wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle!

Does my yogi need to bring a mat?

If you have your own mat, you’re welcome to bring it. We provide extra mats for class and also have mats available for purchase.

Do I need to stay with my yogi at the studio for the duration of class?

Although it’s not necessary for parents to stay for the duration of class, we welcome you to watch a live feed from our lobby.

What package is best for my yogi?

Start with the new student special, 5 classes for $50, this package never expires and provides you with the opportunity to try different teachers and times. After completing the new student special, we recommend any of our additional class packages.

How do I register my yogi for class?

To register, please visit the MINDBODY website or phone app, you can also give us a call to reserve a spot. In order to ensure your chid’s spot in class, it is highly encouraged that you preregister for all classes. We keep our classes to a limited number to provide a high-quality experience.

Do I need to fill out a waiver for my yogi?

Yes. A waiver must be completed prior to your yogi attending class. It can be filled out prior to arriving by clicking here or in person at the studio.

How do I create a MINDBODY account for my yogi?

If you don’t already have a MINDBODY account setup, click here to create one.

Where can I find the most up-to-date class schedule and register my yogi for class?

To register, please visit the MINDBODY phone app, you can also give us a call to reserve a spot. In order to ensure your chid’s spot in class, it is highly encouraged that you preregister for all classes. We keep our classes to a limited number to provide a high-quality experience.

How do I determine how many classes my yogi has left?

Login to your MINDBODY account and visit “My Info” or feel free to ask at the front desk.

When do my yogis classes expire?

All regularly priced class packages, including the New Student Special, have no expiration date.

Promotional packages expire based on the information provided in the package description.

POLICIES

Can I cancel my yogi’s class?

If you are preregistered for a class but cannot make it, please cancel on the MINDBODY website or call us ahead of time and we will cancel your registration. Please see additional cancellation policies for workshops and special events below.

Born Yoga's Cancellation Policy

Born Yoga Studio has the right to cancel class if the client did not pre-register AND is the only one to attend.

Sick Policy

It’s important for us to respect the health and safety of the other yogis attending class, if your yogi has any of the following symptoms, please cancel their registration: flu-like symptoms, body aches, diarrhea, runny nose with substance that is not clear (yellow, green), fever, uncontrollable cough, sore throat, rash, bacterial or viral infections. They must be cleared by a doctor or have taken antibiotics for 48 hours in order to attend class.

Potty Training Policy

If your yogi is attending a class without a parent and is not potty trained, the parent is required to stay at the studio for the duration of the class to assist them, if needed. Children attending summer camp must be fully potty trained.

Special events/ workshop policies?

In order to provide your yogi with the highest quality experience, our workshops and special events have limited availability. Therefore, Born Yoga has a no cancellation policy. In the event where you need to cancel your yogis enrollment, we will offer an account credit with a $5 convenience fee to be used towards any future services.

How do I schedule group or private events?

Check availability at Born Yoga’s Appointment Calendar and click on one of the available dates to book your event or email events@BornYogaStudio.com with your inquiries.

Do I need to stay with my yogi at the studio for the duration of class?

There is a parking lot directly outside of our studio for convenient parking without charge.

Do you sell retail items?

Yes, the Born Boutique sells yoga clothes for both children and adults, yoga toys, yoga mats and accessories as well as gift certificates. All purchases come with a Born Yoga gift bag and tissue paper.

What type of cleaning supplies are used at the studio?

We clean all of our mats and toys with Thieves Household Cleaner by Young Living; it is a 100% plant and mineral based, therapeutic grade, natural cleaner with no chemicals that is safe for children.
