  • Please be ON TIME. After a 5 minute grace period, a $4 per minute late pick up fee will be automatically charged to your account.

What your camper can expect during their time at camp (theme-based camps):

  • Upon check in, a staff member will help campers find a spot at one of the tables within the patio area to begin their craft for the day.
  • After craft time, the campers will be free to move throughout Born Yoga and Om School where a variety of gross motor activities, pretend play, games and so much more, will be available.

  • Following lunch, we will walk to the field at the corner of Lincoln and Eton for the remainder of camp. Children will be required to hold onto our walking rope in order to safely cross the street. There will always be a counselor in the front, the back and on both sides of the walking rope, at all times.
  • While at the field, campers will participate in games, water play, story time and additional crafts.

ADDITIONAL Q&A

What if my child has to use the bathroom?

  • We strongly ask that you encourage your child to use the bathroom before camp. However, we will give many “potty reminders” throughout the morning.
  • If your child needs assistance in the bathroom please inform us by email prior to the start of camp. Clean gloves will always be worn when assistance is needed in the bathroom.
  • If your child has to use the bathroom once we are outside, a counselor will walk them back to the studio. All counselors have been trained in proper hygiene as well as how to help your child properly wash their hands. All bathroom surfaces will be sanitized after every use.

What if someone else is bringing or picking up my child?

A WRITTEN NOTE must be given to the Counselor at drop off (or emailed to Ashley ahead of time) if someone other than yourself will be bringing or picking up your camper. Please let that person know that we will ask to see their drivers license and that they will need to place the sign in their window.

Is there a Snack Time?

We provide a healthy snack for all of the kids. Each child will be given their own portion of snack (handed out by our staff with gloves and a mask). Snack is ALWAYS NUT FREE and will vary between goldfish crackers, skinny pop, veggie straws, apples, watermelon and clementines. On Fridays we will have popsicles or a special treat.

What should my child wear?

  • Please dress your child in lightweight and comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.
  • ALL children MUST WEAR A BATHING SUIT underneath their clothing. Time is limited and we will not be able to help your child change or take them to change at the studio if they do not have their bathing suits on before camp.
  • A 2-PIECE BATHING SUITis encouraged for girls to make it easier when using the bathroom.
  • If your child is attending a themed camp where they can dress up (e.g. Princess Yoginis), please feel free to send them in a costume/dress up clothes over their swimsuit. Please send additional clothes to change into in case they get hot.
  • Please put your child in WATER SHOES or shoes you don’t mind them getting wet. They will keep their shoes on while running around for water play to ensure their safety. Nobody likes stepping on a pine cone!
  • ABSOLUTELY NO FLIP FLOPS!!  Flip flops are difficult to run in when outside and also tend to be a safety hazard (it is easy to trip when moving in flip flops). We recommend waterproof (preferably closed-toe shoes) like Crocs, Natives or Keens. They will be required to keep their shoes on while moving around outside and during water play. Therefore, keep in mind that their shoes will be getting wet.
  • We recommend sending your child with a backpack or beach bag to keep their belongings in. This will also make it easier for them to carry when we transition to the field. They will not need to carry their yoga mats; we will put them in the wagon. THEIR NAME SHOULD BE CLEARLY LABELED ON THE FRONT OF THEIR BAG.

Should my child wear sunscreen?

ABSOLUTELY. It is required that you PRE-APPLY sunscreen before arriving to camp. We will NOT apply sunscreen to your child. There are plenty of shaded spots at the field and we will be in the shade as much as possible.

What does my child need to bring? PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING!

  • Backpack or tote bag (CHILD’S NAME SHOULD BE VISIBLE ON THE FRONT)
  • Yoga mat (Please put their name on their mat. We will keep their mats at camp throughout the week so that we can have them set up and ready to go each day.) If you do not have a children’s yoga mat, we have a wonderful selection in the studio! Feel free to stop by and check them out.
  • Water bottle (filled with cold water). It is very important that they stay hydrated throughout the morning.
  • Towel
  • Cover up or change of clothes. We will have 3 changing tents set up outside. A cover up is preferred, however, If you would like your child to change out of their bathing suit, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to assist them. We will NOT be assisting them in the changing tents this year as it takes away valuable time that is needed from staff overseeing the campers.
  • NUT-FREE lunch
  • Please leave all toys and valuables at home. We are not responsible for lost items.
